Role Summary:The director of educational partnerships coordinates the College's relationships with higher education and k-12 organizations and directs outreach efforts and collaborations. The role is responsible for both building and maintaining relationships and assisting various operations of the College in their outreach and collaboration needs. This position participates in recruitment and enrollment management and provides leadership for developing pathways from K-12 organizations and to transfer institutions.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position oversees the Academic Outreach Coordinator and may oversee other support staff.


Minimum Requirements 1 Master's Degree required
2 Three (3) years of experience working in a department whose primary purpose is to build and maintain relationships with partnering educational institutions with evidence of growing responsibility
3 Work history which demonstrates personal initiative in, and ownership of, assigned areas of responsibility as well as the proactive implementation of change
4 Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of higher education articulation and partnership programs encompassing the essential duties and major accountabilities described above

Additional Desirable Qualifications 1 Knowledge of Community College transfer arrangements and articulation agreements and programs
2 Knowledge of dual enrolled, middle-college, or other nationally recognized programs for high school students to earn college credits
3 Experience with enrichment and outreach programming for K-12 students to help them learn about college and career opportunities

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions 1 Able to remain in a stationary position for several hours approximately 20% of the time.
2 Frequently operates a personal computer.
3 Often moves or traverses about campus.
4 Regularly drives to and from MCC sites and various other locations.
5 Constantly communicates with others in-person and using various electronic modes of communication.
6 Occasionally moves boxes, files, materials up to 30 pounds.

Work Schedule In addition to regular business hours, the person in this position must be able to be flexible around the needs of the College, which includes occasional evening and/or weekend hours.
