About the Opportunity:
The Associate Director of Global Regulatory Affairs will support the institution's global regulatory affairs strategy with an emphasis on expansion and growth, working collaboratively to provide outstanding partnership and project management to the Northeastern University global network, specifically as it relates to regional campus operation and expansion and program authorization and compliance efforts. The primary focus of this position is to build high quality workflows to manage team interactions with external regulators for all NU sites and programs, throughout initial deployment, launch, and ongoing compliance life cycles. These workflows will aid in supporting the exploration and assessment of ongoing global expansion, as well as maintaining and growing the existing global university system.

The Associate Director should possess knowledge of, and able to navigate, the accreditation and regulatory environments of various markets, enabling the university to operate in complex and diverse jurisdictions. In addition, the Associate Director should have experience in the broader process of establishing new instructional sites, obtaining required regulatory permissions, and maintaining university accreditation standards, as this position translates regulatory information, such as county, federal, provincial and state regulatory guidance and requirements into advice and actionable recommendations for evaluation and implementation by functional owners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Working in partnership with a team of senior academic administrators, academic program managers, and staff members across the university network, the Associate Director will assist in supporting the operations, marketing and recruiting, enrollment systems, student support and business affairs areas, particularly as they relate to regulatory authorization and compliance efforts that are required by Northeastern University global network initiatives.

Serving as a key collaborator across the university, this position is responsible for research, execution, and management of regulatory compliance requirements across Northeastern's network. The Associate Director of Global Regulatory Affairs will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the university as well as external stakeholders in varied jurisdictions, such as regulators, quality assurance bodies, and consultants in service of university goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of related experience required, preferably in Higher Ed; Master's degree preferred. This position requires knowledge of strategic planning, academic program administration, regional accreditation and state regulatory processes, as well as professional graduate education. Excellent analytical, writing, presentation, and project management skills are required, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize complex projects to meet strict deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills are required; the Associate Director must be able to work well with all levels of internal and external partners. Strong understanding of university systems and priorities. Must be highly organized and self-directed with the ability to work as a team member. Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
