Position Summary:
The Moscow Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, in coordination with Boise's Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, assists in developing and administering the College's academic policies; advises students, both academically and personally; advises Student Bar Associations and law student organizations as needed; ensures that students are provided reasonable accommodations; and plans and implements orientation and ongoing professional development programming. This position serves law students on a daily basis by addressing student concerns and complaints, and is an essential member of the College of Law's senior leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor Degree
- Three years of experience in the legal profession, higher education, counseling, or human resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a higher education setting, such as student services, academic support, or counseling
- Experience supervising or managing staff
- Experience in budget management
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience working with and communicating with culturally diverse populations and a wide range of constituencies
