Position Summary:
The Moscow Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, in coordination with Boise's Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, assists in developing and administering the College's academic policies; advises students, both academically and personally; advises Student Bar Associations and law student organizations as needed; ensures that students are provided reasonable accommodations; and plans and implements orientation and ongoing professional development programming. This position serves law students on a daily basis by addressing student concerns and complaints, and is an essential member of the College of Law's senior leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Juris Doctor Degree

Three years of experience in the legal profession, higher education, counseling, or human resources

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a higher education setting, such as student services, academic support, or counseling
Experience supervising or managing staff
Experience in budget management
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Experience working with and communicating with culturally diverse populations and a wide range of constituencies
