The School of Architecture and Planning is dedicated to the professional education of architects and planners and others who will design, build and conserve the built environment. The Student Experience Coordinator position supports potential and current students in all aspects of their academic life at the University, from inquiries to application to enrollment to progress through the program. Supports the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies and the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in recruiting, course management, student tracking, and student advising. Manages course registration process, records, and related communication with students.

Manage data in Cardinal Students, EAB, Salesforce, Sign Now, various Excel spreadsheets, and Google forms. Recruit prospective graduate students by following up every step of the process--report to Associate Dean. Provides new student orientation and follow up throughout the semester. Advises students on academic matters, maintain records, and report to Associate Deans. Maintains course content posted on the website. Manages change forms for students moving between programs. Manages tracking sheets for graduating students through the audit process and prepare student lists for commencement. Collaborates with counterparts in the Advising Center, Enrollment Services, Center for Academic and Career Success, School of Engineering, and other schools.

A Bachelor's Degree and minimum of two (2) years of relevant practical experience required. Cardinal Station/PeopleSoft (prior skill or trained within 90 days)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms)
Experience with social networking tools and web content management is desirable (or trained within 90 days).

Must be service-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and projects; communicating task and project status to peers and supervisors; tracking and completing both detailed tasks and high-level objectives.
