Assistant Director, International Student Advising & Career Coaching

The Center for Global Programs is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director, International Student Advising & Career Coaching position. This role will serve as a primary advisor for international students at Denison and help facilitate relationships for those students with both the Global Programs Office and the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration. Additionally, this role provides a range of advice and counsel to international students across a wide variety of areas.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in the areas of business, human resources, education, marketing, human development, or related field is required; and a minimum of three years of full-time professional experience working with college students in an international office, career center, academic advising office (or related office).
The exceptionally qualified candidate will have a master's degree in Business, International Education, Counseling and Guidance, Higher Education, Human Resources, an academic discipline, or related field.
In addition, fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) or Vietnamese, experience with advising on résumés, interviewing and job search strategies, and experience in human resources, talent identification, or similar function.
